The goal of the Evidence-Based Practice Day program was to provide an interactive learning environment that engaged and challenged nurses to strengthen the scientific knowledge that guides practice.

Efforts to disseminate practice updates and research information across the nursing care continuum must be geared to all team members (RN's, LPN's, LNA's) to maximize patient outcomes.

Our Magnet designated, rural community hospital has created an innovative way to meet these challenges through the development of Evidence-Based Practice Day.
